Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and DailyApple LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India ("DailyApple LLP", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of Millennial CAT, our CAT mock test and preparation service at cat.millennial-ai.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Use of the Service requires your agreement to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and enter into these Terms, consistent with the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the Service. You represent that all registration information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@millennial-ai.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Accounts are for individual, personal use. Sharing your login or using one account for multiple test-takers is prohibited.

3. The Service

Millennial CAT provides preparation for the Common Admission Test (CAT): full and sectional mock tests in an exam screen modelled on the CAT console, results with marks, percentiles and ranks, written solutions, AI help with solutions, lessons and study tools. Mocks follow the current CAT pattern (VARC, DILR, QA) and its marking.

Free account. A free account includes the 10 free full mocks, 1 free sectional per section, their results and solutions, and AI help in solutions up to 3 times a day. It costs nothing and needs no card. The CAT pass, described in Section 4, adds the rest of the Service.

Percentiles. On a free mock or a live weekend mock, a percentile is your rank among the people who took the same paper, and we show the number of takers beside it. A free mock's percentile moves as more people take it. A live weekend mock's percentiles are fixed when its results are published. A past live paper is scored against the takers frozen at that point and is marked unranked. A mock you build yourself is ranked against all full-length sittings on the Service (or, for a sectional, that section's scores), and that percentile moves as more people sit.

The CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Millennial CAT and DailyApple LLP are not affiliated with or endorsed by the IIMs, and our mocks are not the official CAT mock test.

4. The CAT pass, payment, and refunds

The CAT pass is one payment of ₹999 for one CAT season. It is valid until the end of that CAT's exam day, 11:59 PM IST, and it does not renew.

The pass on sale is for the next CAT whose exam day has not begun. From 00:00 IST on a CAT's exam day, the pass on sale is for the following year's CAT, whose date is marked as expected until it is announced; when the date is announced, the pass runs to the end of that day.

An account holds one pass per CAT season. A second payment for a season the account already holds, or a payment that reaches us after its season has ended, opens nothing and is refunded in full.

A free account includes the 10 free full mocks, one free sectional per section and their results. There is no free period of the pass itself.

In the last week before a CAT, the pass for that CAT is still on sale, and you confirm before paying that it ends on exam day.

A partner coupon takes a whole-number percentage off the price, rounded to the nearest rupee in your favour.

Students and alumni with a verified IIT or BITS Pilani email address can claim the pass free, once per address and once per account, for the season in which they claim it. Online-degree addresses are excluded.

The pass is not a subscription. You pay once, nothing is charged again, and nothing renews automatically. We store no payment method for reuse.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment processor, in Indian rupees, by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet. Your card and UPI details are provided directly to Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us; we receive only the order and payment identifiers, the pass purchased, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded. See our Privacy Policy for what we do with that data.

The 99+ refund

  • If the overall percentile on your official CAT scorecard is 99.5 or above, we refund 100% of the amount you paid for that CAT's pass. From 99 up to 99.5, we refund 50%. Below 99, there is no refund.
  • The refund is for paid passes only. A pass claimed free with an IIT or BITS address, or granted by us, has nothing to refund.
  • Claims open on the day the CAT result is published and close 30 days later, at 11:59 PM IST. The claim is for the pass of that CAT.
  • Each account can make one refund claim, ever, whatever its outcome. A claim we send back for a clearer upload is the same claim, and the new upload is due within 14 days of our request.
  • Each scorecard, and each candidate, can be claimed once per CAT year.
  • You upload the official scorecard from Settings, with its registration number. The name and email on the scorecard must match the name and email you bought the pass with, and your email must be verified.
  • A payment that is under a dispute or chargeback with your bank, or that the bank has returned to you, cannot be claimed.
  • A refund is paid to the original payment method. A payment older than our payment provider allows to be refunded that way (180 days) is paid back by UPI, to an ID you give us in Settings.
  • Your access is not withdrawn when a refund is paid.
  • We decide each claim within 7 days of receiving it, and you may, if you choose, let us feature your name and percentile.

Write to cat@millennial-ai.com with any question about a payment or a refund.

Active development. The Service is under active development: features, content, and availability may change, and the Service may experience downtime or bugs without notice.

Communications. You may receive occasional emails from us about your preparation and your account (for example, a welcome note, a check-in as your exam approaches, or a request for feedback), product tips and a weekly progress summary, in addition to any daily study reminders you opt into. You can opt out of each kind at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in any such email or the email preferences in Settings; account and security notices necessary to operate the Service may still be sent.

5. Acceptable use

You agree never to:

  • Use the Service to cheat in the CAT or any other exam;
  • Copy, publish, resell, sublicense, rent, or share access to our questions, mock papers, solutions, or AI help with anyone outside your own account;
  • Share or publish the questions of a live weekend mock while its window is open;
  • Open more than one account to get more free mocks, another free pass, or another refund claim;
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the Service's source code, question bank, or underlying AI system prompts;
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service, or attempt to circumvent any rate limits or usage caps;
  • Upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content through notes, bookmarks, reports, or AI help; or
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, at our reasonable discretion.

6. AI help

Hints, alternative solutions, explanations of why options are wrong, answers to your doubts, similar practice questions and mock debriefs are produced with third-party AI models. There is no AI help inside a timed, scored test. AI help is a study aid and may sometimes be wrong or incomplete; where it differs from the written solution, rely on the written solution, and tell us so we can fix it. Section 5 of our Privacy Policy says what is sent to the AI providers.

7. Practice results

Marks, percentiles and ranks on our mocks are practice results. They are not a prediction of your CAT result.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its questions, mock papers, solutions, software, design, and branding (including the Millennial CAT name and marks), is owned by DailyApple LLP or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial CAT preparation. We reserve all other rights.

You retain ownership of notes and other content you submit through the Service. By submitting it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of operating the Service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT (INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT) IS COMPLETELY ACCURATE. THIS IS PARTICULARLY TRUE WHILE THE SERVICE REMAINS UNDER ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT (SECTION 4).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DailyApple LLP and its officers, partners, and personnel disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is capped at the total amount, if any, that you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DailyApple LLP harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own willful misconduct.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8 through 11 and 14) will survive.

13. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time, particularly as the Service evolves. We will post the revised Terms here with an updated "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at privacy@millennial-ai.com so we can attempt to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that remains unresolved after that informal attempt will be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties (or, failing agreement, appointed in accordance with that Act). The seat and venue of arbitration will be Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and the proceedings will be conducted in English. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in the courts of competent jurisdiction at Mumbai, which will have exclusive jurisdiction over matters outside arbitration.

15. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for Millennial CAT can be reached at privacy@millennial-ai.com. We will acknowledge grievances within 24 hours of receipt and endeavor to resolve them within 15 days.

16. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DailyApple LLP regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the subject. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision leaves our right to enforce it intact. Assignment of these Terms by you requires our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. By using the Service, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically.
